Rihanna is reportedly preparing to release new music.

According to DJ Skee of Dash Radio station, the 26-year-old is gearing up to delight fans with a host of fresh tracks. The DJ revealed that Rihanna already has ten songs ready to release, and has stunned even her record label bosses with her speed at getting the tunes ready to be made public.

“That project is a lot closer than anyone realised, including her own record label,” DJ Skee revealed. “Last weekend in New York City, Rihanna took a couple Def Jam executives to a top secret location and played ten new records. So, that means she’s trying to put out a project to capitalize off the fourth quarter craziness.”

DJ Skee also revealed one of the titles is I’ve Been Searching for Something to Ignite Me, although it isn’t clear if that’s the name of an album or a new single.

Rihanna’s last release was Unapologetic in 2012. However, it was reported earlier this year the star was being lined up to sing the theme track for the new Bond movie, tentatively titled Bond 24.

Filming for the next instalment of the Bond series is expected to start in coming months. Daniel Craig will once again star as the lead with Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris thought to appear. The film will be directed by Sam Mendes and is expected to be released in November 2015.

It was also claimed Rihanna is being considered for a cameo role in the film.

“They are actually looking for her to do the theme and the role would just be an added bonus,” a source told Hollywood Life.
“There have definitely been discussions of her joining the cast to be a Bond Girl. But she will not be the most focused Bond Girl if she gets the part. It will be more of a glorified cameo,” the source added.

Rihanna previously appeared on-screen in Battleship, which was released to theatres in 2012.
She also played herself in 2013 comedy This Is The End.
