Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have reportedly split.
The 24-year-old former American Idol winner and Jason, 25, are said to have made the mutual decision to call time on their relationship.
The pair had been together for two years, after first being romantically linked back in 2012.
However, while they are no longer in a relationship, Jordin and Jason are said to still be close.
“They still care very deeply for each other and will remain in each other lives as friends,” a source told E! News.
Jason spoke about his relationship with Jordin during an interview with Access Hollywood back in April.
At the time, the Ridin’ Solo singer admitted his intentions to propose to Jordin when the “time is right”.
“We're not engaged yet, not yet,” he said. “When the time is right and the stars are aligned perfectly [I’ll propose]. I always have to tell myself to not allow [speculation] to interfere in the beauty that we have, and I hope that she knows that as well.
“What we have is amazing and what we have is forever, so there is no rush,” he added.
And in a previous interview, Jordin admitted she was already looking forward to starting a family with Jason.
“He has a big family, and I grew up with one brother,” Jordin said “We'll start with one and go from there. I guess they could be twins, but start with one.”
Jason had always shown his love for Jordin with extravagant gestures, splashing out on 10,000 orange roses for her for Valentine’s Day and a BMW last Christmas.
The pair also teamed up on a duet entitled Vertigo, which appeared on Jason’s last album.
