Weller says no to Jam

Paul Weller has officially denied rumours that mod supergroup, The Jam, are to reform.

Weller took a break from his U.S. tour to quosh speculation about a possible Jam reunion, and series of gigs at Knebworth.

Paul issued a statement reading: “Following continued speculation about the reformation of The Jam culminating in five nights at Knebworth next summer… Paul Weller would like to take this opportunity to stamp out these rumours and dismiss them as 'Bollocks'.”

Weller plans to release a covers album entitled 'Forty Days And Forty Nights' in 2004. He is currently rehearsing for his European tour, which begins in two weeks.
