Gwyneth Paltrow is said to have been offering Beyoncé Knowles marriage advice.
The actress, who split from her husband Chris Martin earlier this year, is a close friend of both the former Destiny’s Child singer and her husband Jay-Z.
And Gwyneth is reportedly doing her utmost to stay neutral while giving Beyoncé some much needed advice in the wake of reports that her marriage is on the rocks.
“Beyoncé has been leaning on Gwyneth for support and advice on how to best handle her rocky relationship with Jay-Z,” a source told Hollywood Life.
“Gwyneth adores both Beyoncé and Jay-Z, so it’s not like she’s taking sides. But her main words of advice have been to take things slowly and to not rush into making any drastic decisions.”
Gwyneth, who has two children with Coldplay frontman Chris, is also said to have advised Beyoncé to concentrate on her family life “away from the public eye”.
“She thinks Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and of course [their daughter] Blue Ivy, need alone time far away from the public eye to just chill and get grounded,” the source added.
Beyoncé has been posting images on her Instagram page which appear to show her on holiday with two-year-old Blue – but without Jay-Z.
Meanwhile, a new report has also accused the pair of fuelling divorce rumours to boost ticket sales for their tour.
According to publicist Jonathan Hay, the couple have not been denying the allegations surrounding their relationship because the tickets for their joint tour have been boosted by the stories.
“They are driving interest for the tour,” Jonathan told British newspaper The Sun. “If you look at the timing of these stories, I don’t think this is a coincidence.”
