Boyz II Men enjoy singing “sweet harmonies” about “a pretzel bun”.

Boyz II Men, featuring Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, broke out into the music scene 26 years ago with the album Cooleyhighharmony.

And the trio recently partnered with Wendy’s to celebrate the return of the popular Pretzel Bacon cheeseburger with a song.

“We’ve been singing about romance, heartache, and love lost and found for over 20 years… but we’ve never had the chance to sing sweet harmonies about, of all things, a pretzel bun. This is really fun for us. And who doesn’t love pretzel buns?” the band joked in an interview with America’s OK! Magazine.

The R&B vocal group’s success began with the release of End of the Road in 1992, which set a new record for staying at number one of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 13 weeks. The band continued to break records with I’ll Make Love to You and One Sweet Day, which featured Mariah Carey.

“It’s all about singing from the heart!” the trio explained to the publication. “Whether you’re singing about a pretzel bun, or your ‘Better Half’, [which we do on our new single Better Half]. Or maybe your better half is a pretzel bun and in that case you’ll love our #PretzelLoveSongs video.”

The hitmakers’ 1994 I’ll Make Love To You, which was on their second album II, is a popular karaoke choice. The band is flattered that they are still a go-to choice for fans who want to sing.

“We’ve always been about making heartfelt, timeless songs for real moments in peoples’ lives. I’ll Make Love to You is just one of those songs that audiences have always connected with and we love that fans are still singing it 20 years later,” they asserted.
