The UK’s most unique festival, Festival No.6 continues to build on its eclectic bill as one of this year’s most exciting live acts, Kelis has been added to the line-up. Tom Odell, Badly Drawn Boy, Paddy Considine’s band Riding The Low, Tuneyards and Bodhi are also confirmed. Festival No.6 has also announced its day-by-day line-up and day tickets are now available to purchase.

Festival No.6 takes place over the weekend of the 5,6,7 September 2014 in the stunning village of Portmeirion, Wales, home of cult TV series The Prisoner. These acts join the plethora of acts already announced, including Pet Shop Boys, Beck, London Grammar, Neneh Cherry with RocketNumberNine, Julio Bashmore, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas, Laurent Garnier and many, many more.

This year has been an huge year for Kelis. Her soul and RnB tinged sixth studio album ‘Food’ was released earlier this year and her change in direction in both her sound and live shows has been critically acclaimed. She will be bringing her new sound to the shores of Portmeirion to support Pet Shop Boys on the Sunday night.

After winning the BRIT’s Critics’ Choice Award in 2013, Tom Odell has gone from strength to strength. His debut album ‘Long Way Down’ saw huge success and Tom is set to play the Festival No.6 main stage supporting the legendary Beck.

Festival No.6 is also delighted to announce the brilliant, award-winning actor Paddy Considine (Dead Man’s Shoes, The Bourne Ultimatum, 24 Hour Party People) has been added to the bill with his band Riding The Low. Paddy has been lead singer and frontman of the band since 2006, and has said “If the band took off tomorrow, I would have no regrets about never making a film ever again”. Paddy and Riding The Low will be playing Tim Burgess’ Tim Peaks Diner, which has moved into the bigger space of Portmeirion Town Hall this year.

Tiny Ruins, Tune-Yards, Aquilo, Gengahr, The Everly Pregnant Brothers, Bird To Beast, Drohne, Pete McKee, Gallery Circus, The Humingbirds, Grasshopper, Stephen Morris, Slowgun, Hot Vestry, Steve Hanley, Okolosh, Kiran Leonard, Richard Hector-Jones, Bernie Connor have also been added to the bill.

The acts will perform across the entire site, from the historic town hall to the Colonnade Gardens, to the picturesque Estuary Stage, against a back drop of neo-classical architecture, sandy beaches and palm trees. Other festival areas include The Castell Gardens, The Central Piazza and The Woodlands.
