Hotly tipped rock trio Keane will release its Island debut, "Hopes and Fears," May 12. Buzz is building on the strength of the single "Somewhere Only We Know," which last month reached No. 3. Other tracks earmarked for the album include "We Might As Well Be Strangers" and "Everybody's Changing," which due for release on April 26.
Comprised of Tom Chaplin (vocals), Richard Hughes (drums) and Tim Rice-Oxley (piano), Keane is in the midst of a U.K. tour with Travis. The group will then be out on a headlining tour from April 6 in Paris to May 10 in London.
