The Specials: We don't travel together

The Specials spoke to Absolute Radio presenters Pete Donaldson and Sarah Champion at the Isle of Wight Festival and revealed they don’t get on, and don’t travel together.

Linval from the band said, “From the beginning of 1979 but we worked very, very hard. It was real short space of time, and then we split up to the back end of 1981. I don’t travel with them, we don’t get on. We have a dreadfully tardy work ethic which is great we only work a couple of months a year”.

To which Terry Hall replied, “And that’s too much!”.
