Goldie Lookin Chain celebrated the launch of their new album 'Safe As Fuck'last night (September 19) with a special one off gig in London say NME.com..

The Newport rap collective played a 55-minute set at the Scala in King's Cross which comprised of mainly new tracks, unreleased songs and singles from their debut album.

The sold out gig marked the last headline slot for the band this year, although they will support Super Furry Animals for two dates later this week.

The show seemed more like a party than a concert with much of the crowd, dressed in tracksuits and headbands, constantly throwing balloons around the venue and chanting "GLC, GLC".

During the gig the band also took photos of the audience and someone threw a pair of Y-fronts at Eggsy.

The rap collective performed eight new tracks from their new record, plus there was a rare outings for unreleased songs 'No Joke' and 'Mystikal'.
