Ellie Goulding thinks Katy Perry is “amazing”.
British star Ellie is good friends with the Roar singer, and is truly inspired by the example Katy sets.
According to Ellie, Katy is one of the hardest-working people she knows.
"She's just an amazing woman, she's very funny, she's very British actually,” she told E! News. “She works really, really hard and when I think that I'm really tired or working too hard, I look at her and I think I'm not working too hard.”
Another musician Ellie is extremely impressed by is Taylor Swift, who she joined on stage at London’s O2 arena in February.
Ellie says she was a Taylor fan before she ever had a career of her own, and getting to sing with both women has been a dream come true.
"Performing with Taylor Swift and Katy Perry… just getting able to meet and get advice from people I looked up to for a really long time since before I was known as a singer," she gushed.
Ellie also spoke about how she met Beyoncé backstage at the Brit Awards in February, and was completely starstruck by the pop diva.
The 27-year-old was so overwhelmed by the experience she forgot it even happened.
"I was just walking back from something at the Brits and she was on her way to perform and she said she was a fan," Ellie revealed.
"I think I was so overwhelmed that I just forgot about it, but then I remembered it the other day and was like, 'Damn that was the coolest thing ever.' It's always really cool knowing that people who inspire you are really big fans of you,” she said.
