Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are still good friends despite rumours to the contrary.
It was reported earlier on Wednesday that Trouble singer Taylor had distanced herself from Selena after she reconnected with her former flame Justin Bieber.
But according to a friend close to Taylor, this is not the case.
“She has not cut her off,” the friend told E! News, adding that the 24-year-old sees Selena as “a little sister”.
This contradicts earlier reports that claimed Taylor broke away from the Come and Get It singer after her recent hook ups with Justin, including a sexy dance rehearsal.
A rep for Taylor has so far not responded to the comments.
But even if Taylor is standing by Selena, she has been open about her seeming dislike of the 20-year-old Believe singer.
During a press conference at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, a media member asked Taylor what she thought of Justin winning the Milestone Award, to which she swiftly answered, "Can we have another question?"
Selena and Justin have recently reconnected after originally breaking up in November 2012.
The Boyfriend singer supposedly sent his ex $10,000 in flowers and flew from Miami to McAllen, Texas to see her on March 7.
Two days later, Selena accompanied Justin to the SXSW music fest where he sang his hit As Long as You Love Me to her.
They were also photographed kissing while out for breakfast during their time together in Texas.
