Legendary UK band THE CURE this week sold out two Teenage Cancer Trust shows at The Royal Albert Hall in less than two minutes.

These very special performances on March 28th and 29th mark only the fifth time that THE CURE have played UK indoor concerts in the past decade, and herald the start of a very busy 2014 for the band, marking 35 years since the release of their first album 'Three Imaginary Boys'.

In the next few months they will not only be releasing a series of live concert DVDs but also their long awaited 14th studio album - recorded at the same time as 2008's '4:13 Dream' - tentatively entitled '4:14 Scream'.

The band are also making plans to take another 'Trilogy' style show around the world in late 2014 this time featuring the 1980's albums 'The Top', 'The Head On The Door' and 'Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me' played live in their entirety.

This is the third time THE CURE have undertaken such shows, the first trilogy in 2002 featured the albums 'Pornography', 'Disintegration' and 'Bloodflowers' and the second under the title 'Reflections' in 2011 saw 'Three Imaginary Boys', 'Seventeen Seconds' and 'Faith' performed in full.

The Royal Albert Hall shows are the band's first concerts since their 2013 tour of South East Asia and North and South America.
