Katherine Jenkins doesn't regret publically denying an alleged affair with David Beckham.
The Welsh opera singer took to her Twitter account in 2012 to address rumours that she was having a relationship with David, who is married to fashion designer Victoria.
She absolutely denied an affair and called the accusations hurtful and untrue in a tweet that she still stands by.
"I had to do it. I just had to do it. I simply didn't want people thinking I was that sort of girl," Katherine revealed to British newspaper The Sun.
"It didn't come out of the blue - everyone was talking about it."
Katherine hasn't seen either Victoria Beckham or David since the incident, but says it "will be interesting" when they do run into each other.
The Opera star was awarded an OBE earlier this month for her services to music and charity, but the 33-year-old is constantly plagued with tabloid tales about her supposed diva behaviour.
She was reportedly dropped from record label Warner Music last year for her high maintenance behaviour, but has since rekindled her working relationship with her first record label Decca Records.
"I've heard people say I've thrown phones and water bottles at people. It was also said I spent £1.4 million a year on hair and make-up. Like, who does that? I don't even think it'd be possible to do that," she sighed.
Katherine has openly admitted past experiences with drug use and isn't keen to be seen as a role model claiming she's only human and makes mistakes. The star confessed that she had taken cocaine and ecstasy to Piers Morgan for his TV show Life Stories.
"We've all done silly things. I don't want to be put on a pedestal - I'm just like everyone else.
"Talking about the drug thing with Piers Morgan was the right thing to do at the time. It's important with classical artists for you to realise that the music we sing might be perceived in a certain way but we're also human beings," she explained.
