Chris Brown is reportedly terrified of being sent to jail.

The 24-year-old singer had his probation revoked by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin after a hearing yesterday. This was regarding his felony assault from allegedly punching a man in Washington, D.C. in October, which was then reduced to a misdemeanour.

Although he previously checked into rehab to address his anger issues Chris is now said to be worried about being put behind bars after his next hearing on February 10 2014.

"Chris is always concerned that's a possibility and he doesn't want that to happen, let alone let it manifest in his mind. He already had sweaty palms when he left court [on Monday] because he knows this is not over and it's going to hang over," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"He's been losing weight like there's no tomorrow, primarily because it's s**tty food where he is and when he thinks about his legal sh*t it depresses him and he gets nervous."

Chris must be law-abiding at all times in the newly revoked probation that stems from his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

In the meantime the musician is said to be trying hard to think positive and get himself back on track.

"It does him no good to dwell on the 'what ifs' in life. Yes, [the prospect of going to jail] scares him but he's really trying hard to not think about it because he can't control that at this point," the source added.

"All he's focused on is continuing in rehab and making the best out of this life-changing experience. As long as he's focusing on doing what's right, everything else will fall into place."
