Miley Cyrus will reportedly host a Vegas show the night Britney Spears opens her residency.

The Wrecking Ball singer will appear at the opening of Beacher's Madhouse at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on December 27 according to the New York Daily News.

Britney will also be showcasing her talents that same night, with her hotly anticipated residency at Planet Hollywood commencing.

"We're told she'll be part of Beacher's Vegas' 'late show' event celebrating the opening of the 8,500-square-foot space. While Cyrus isn't slated to sing, a 'Mini Britney' little person will make her concert debut," reports NY Daily News.

"Beacher's signature cast of little people will make their way around the room delivering bottles of booze to tables and doling out cocktails from imaginative serving stations including a telephone booth, a cannon and a statue designed to resemble an elephant's derriere."

The live-performance nightclub features a state-of-the-art stage where artists will get to perform in front of an LED wall.

Beacher's already has a firm following at its LA flagship club, and is a favourite hangout for Jamie Foxx, Ashton Kutcher and Miley, who's often spotted inside the VIP birdcage.

She celebrated her 21st birthday there in November, where she was legally allowed to drink for the first time under American law.

While the star is yet to comment on the show, Britney has been sharing her excitement in the lead-up to her shows with constant Twitter updates and photos.

"Rehearsing on the @phvegas stage for the first time today... Y'all. It's omg amazing (sic)," she recently tweeted to 34.7million followers.
