Katy Perry's first crush was on a female friend.
The singer rose to fame in 2008 with her hit I Kissed a Girl, which is a fun track about experimenting with sexuality.
Despite dating men in the past and marrying UK comedian Russell Brand, who she split from in 2011, Katy has now revealed her first love was a girl.
“When I was 15, I fell in love with a female friend. I thought she was beautiful and wanted to be like her,” she told French magazine Entrevue.
“She had such a huge impact on my life, but I never told her how I felt.”
The 29-year-old is currently in a relationship with singer John Mayer, who has romanced stars such as Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston in the past.
While she's happy with the 36-year-old, there are some famous females Katy wouldn't be able to resist.
“I’ve told my boyfriend that if Scarlett Johansson wanted to go out with me, I’d ditch him immediately. Female beauty can be incredibly powerful...” she confessed.
“Actually, I’m obsessed with beautiful women and their elegance. I like the paradox of appearing innocent and sexy all at once.”
Katy herself oozes female sexuality and often hits the stage in skimpy outfits.
She might look like a glamour puss for her fans, but the brunette insists she gets sloppy in her spare time.
“I get drunk, I pick my nose, I swear and I fart! I don’t care, I’m not planning to become the President of the United States,” she laughed.
