JLS today confirmed that they will be going ahead with their performance at this summer’s Fusion Festival in Cofton Park, Birmingham making it one of their last summer festival shows ever and a must see for all JLS fans.
Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan 'JB' Gill, and Oritse Williams, announced their split this morning on their official website saying "To each and every JLSter, our beloved fans around the world. We wanted to make sure that you heard it from the four of us, that we have decided to bring our time as a band to an end.
"It has been the most incredible journey over the last six years and we have achieved more things than we could have ever dreamed possible. "Thanks to all of you guys, your support, your dedication and your love, you have changed our lives forever and we wouldn't be where we are today without you.
JLS will perform a full live set at Fusion, featuring all of their biggest hits, in front of a massive 30,000 fans. The huge weekend pop extravaganza will see 20 of the worlds biggest pop acts take to the stage including Jessie J, Ne-Yo, The Wanted, The Saturdays and James Arthur.
Festival organizers said “We were sad to hear the news this morning that JLS are splitting up. Given that Fusion will be one of the last times for their fans to see them perform live, we expect the boys will really deliver something extra special. It’ll be a bittersweet moment for everyone.”
JLS are ambassadors for the Prince’s Trust which Fusion Festival is proud to support with £5 from each ticket sale donated to the charity.
