Black Sabbath fan James Clarke has launched the following petition asking the band to record a "live, acoustic album."

The petition reads as follows:

"Dear Misters Iommi, Osbourne, Butler, and Ward,

We Black Sabbath fans are humbly asking you to consider the possibility of recording a live, acoustic album. Not only would an 'unplugged' album be a wonderful opportunity to re-visit (and breath some new life into) some Black Sabbath classics, but it would allow Mr. Osbourne to perform on a successful live album while avoiding the vocal strain that may have contributed to Ozzy's debilitating Bronchitis on last year's Black Sabbath tour. Many of us agree that we would love to hear acoustic renditions of (among others) Sabbath classics such as 'Lord Of This World', 'Scary Dreams', 'Electric Funeral' and 'Behind The Wall Of Sleep' and we would be greatly honored if you would take our suggestion into consideration."

The petition currently has 120 signatures.
