Billy Bragg last night showed exactly why he's been dragging an acoustic guitar around with him for the last thirty years.
This politically motivated romantic singer songwriter was on hand at The Lexington with his new touring band for a special intimate show to trial run his new album 'Tooth & Nail'.
Armed with banter that would see him carve out a successful career as a stand up comedian should the music sour (fat chance) the raconteur entertained the gathered few for an hour and a half with new album tracks and reworkings of some classic oldies.
Sexuality and Great Leap Forward finished off a set that proved he is still just as relevant now as he ever was. He's off to the US on tour now but you can catch this national treasure at various summer festivals or on his UK tour, dates below. If you can't wait that long scroll down and look at him in action last night and check out our review of 'Tooth & Nail'.
