Kim Kardashian has shocked her family by telling them they come behind Kanye West in her priority list.
The reality TV star discusses her relationship in an upcoming edition of her show Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, which was shot before she announced her pregnancy.
In the episode, Kim shocks her sister Kourtney, mother Kris Jenner and step-father Bruce Jenner by agreeing to attend a boat race with them. She had previously pulled out of the event as she thought it conflicted with Kanye's schedule, before realising he would not be around at that time anyway.
When she explains her turnaround to her loved ones, an uncomfortable exchange ensues.
"So we’re you’re back-up choice," Kris says.
Kourtney adds: "So we’re second priority."
"Yeah you are," Kim admits. "Yeah, in my life you are."
Kim's harsh words upset Bruce, who believes relatives should always come first. He is often portrayed as being a pushover on the family's reality shows, but proved he is able to take a firm stance when required.
"You know, I’m the team captain and I like commitment… there’s no more room, sorry," he bluntly said.
Although Kim is close to her kin, it has been reported that Kanye is keen to put some distance between the famous clan.
It was recently claimed that before the couple snapped up their $11 million mansion in Bel Air, California, Kris had been trying to convince them to buy somewhere near her home in Calabasas.
“She wanted to be able to visit Kim as often as possible and come and go as and when she chose to. Kris even suggested having her own key. But, Kanye laid down the law. He said ‘hell no’ to the idea and told Kim he didn’t want to live near her mom," a source said.
