Just when you thought Cher had said her good-byes, the long-winded pop diva isn't through yet. After a hugely successful lengthy farewell tour in North America, the legendary singer is planning to say good-bye in person to fans in Europe.

The 58-year-old performer, whose 2003 tour, “Living Proof – The Farewell Tour” raked in the third-best grosses of the year, will head to Europe in early May. The trek will include stops in Ireland, England, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, France and Austria. That may not be the extent of touring in 2004.

There is talk she may begin another short run in the U.S. when she returns home in July.

With much fan anticipation and interest, Cher launched her farewell tour in 2002 but continued sold-out shows caused her to extend the good thing well into 2003. Last year, the show grossed $76.3 million.

The tour doubled as a promotional vehicle for her most recent album, Living Proof, and as her opportunity to say good-bye to a live audience. The tour's extension even evolved into a compilation of Cher's hits titled The Very Best of Cher. The album features 21 songs that span her entire 30-year career, from the days with Sonny Bono to her amazing return in the 90s with mega hit dance single “Believe.” In fact, the Living Proof album falls in the shadows of its more successful predecessor Believe that sold more than 10 million copies worldwide since its 1998 release.

Cher plans to return to acting once the tour is done. Throughout the years, Cher has been in many movies and even won an Oscar for Best Actress for her role in “Moonstruck.”
