Second single from the album ‘The First Time’ is expected to achieve more of the same success enjoyed by title track ‘Invincible’, which gained major support across the board on radio and TV - riding high on BBC Radio 2’s A list and soundtracking BBC Olympics coverage as well as the Sky Sports Summer promo.
‘Invincible’ showcases a maturity and depth to the 34 year old’s work that takes a new direction to previous releases while staying true to his natural artistic instincts. “I’ve realised who I am and where I am. Taking a break has allowed me to rediscover me and I’ve loved being able to communicate this in my music.
This record is a natural evolution, anyone that has listened to me over the last ten years has grown with me and is probably at the same stage in their lives/relationships,... they’ve evolved with me. We’ve evolved and this is where we are.”
With this album Lemar is well and truly back, and playing to the beat of his own drum, the resulting work is a landmark in the talented individual’s career.
