Following the release of their brand new single ‘Kill The DJ’ last week, Green Day have confirmed a very intimate gig at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Thursday, August 23rd.

The show is the band’s first in the capital since they played Wembley Stadium in the summer of 2010, and comes ahead of the September 24th release of the new album ‘¡Uno!’ which is the first in a trilogy of albums which will be completed by ‘¡Dos!’ (released on November 12th), and ‘¡Tré!’ (January 14th 2013).

Pre-sale tickets for the show will initially go sale exclusively through the official Green Day fan club Idiot Club from 9am on Tuesday, August 21st. Gigs will then go on general sale from midday from www.gigsandtours.com

Fans who pre-order the ‘¡Uno!’, ‘¡Dos!’ and ‘¡Tré!’ Ultimate Box Set will also gain a yearly membership to the Idiot Club which allows them to access the exclusive pre-sale.

The trilogy of albums are the follow-up to the Grammy Award-winning ‘21st Century Breakdown’ and are being produced by the band’s long-time producer Rob Cavallo in Green Day’s hometown of Oakland, CA.
