Chris Brown has reportedly given Rihanna an emerald ring to represent their time apart.
The two stars have courted controversy recently as they have seemingly rekindled their romance, after splitting in 2009 when Chris assaulted her.
He recently joined her on her yachting holiday and it’s been claimed he presented her with a special gift to show his commitment.
“It was apparently really intense and emotional,” a source told UK Grazia magazine. “There was certainly kissing and some tears from Rihanna. By the end, Chris presented her with a ring set with three emeralds: one for each year they’d been apart. Rihanna is so happy, it’s what she’s wanted for a long time. It’s her dream.”
Although neither has confirmed their romance is back on, it’s thought Rihanna and Chris send each other messages on Twitter.
She is thought to use the tag ‘1love’ when she is referring to her former beau.
“Neither of them cares who sees,” an insider said. “They can’t seem to stay away from each other.”
