On Thursday afternoon, the first wave of eager T in the Park fans checked into the campsite and the all-new Sunset Strip. Within hours of the party being in full flow, and with word spreading fast between friends, the last handful of tickets were snapped up, securing T in the Park sold out status!
There’s even more reason for festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partner Tennent’s Lager to celebrate as the Friday night has a record breaking capacity. 85,000 people will flock through the gates each day to see headliners Snow Patrol, The Stone Roses and Kasabian, plus an array of T in the Park highlights including Swedish House Mafia playing their last EVER Scottish set and hip hop Princess, Nicki Minaj, who will take to the stage to play her only Scottish gig this year.
Fans are reminded to pack all their festival essentials such as sunglasses and sunscreen, as well as suitable footwear and warm clothing for when night falls and they’re watching their favourite bands, live under the Scottish stars.
The event team also has a team of photographers documenting the weekend’s highlights. Images (free to use) will be issued to photo desk email addresses at regular intervals or can be downloaded from the Media Room at www.tinthepark.com/media - password - bringitonbalado. Please contact the T in the Park Press Office if you would like these emailed to you direct.
