Californian rockers Incubus, whose latest album A Crow Left Of The Murder went into the charts at number six this week, have announced a short UK Arena tour in May.

The band - Brandon Boyd (vocals), Mike Einziger (guitar), Alex Katunich (bass), Chris Kilmore (turntables) and Jose Pasillas (drums) - will play the M.E.N. Arena on Friday, May 14.

A Crow Left Of The Murder was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who has previously worked with Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen, and includes the single Megalomaniac, which went to number 23 in the charts.

The album also includes a bonus DVD, which features a re-enactment of a bizarre gardening accident which caused singer Boyd to injure his Achilles tendon.

Incubus, who hail from Calabasas in the south of California, last toured the UK in 2002.

The full UK leg of their tour is as follows:

May 11 - Birmingham NEC Arena
May 12 - Glasgow SECC
May 14 - Manchester MEN Arena
May 15 - London Wembley Arena
