Katy Perry ‘splits from Robert Ackroyd’

Katy Perry has reportedly split from Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

The couple were seen smooching at Coachella Music Festival in April and they seemed very cosy in each other’s company.

But Us Weekly claims that the musical duo are no longer an item but there was no major heartbreak.

“It wasn’t that serious,” a source told the publication. “It’s not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they’ll talk soon.”

“No hard feelings. She’s really busy and so is he.”

Her ex-husband Russell Brand recently told Ellen DeGeneres that he still loved Katy “as a human being.”

But Katy seems to have truly moved on going by the lyrics of the song she sang at last night’s Billboard Awards.

“Not losing any sleep, I picked up every piece and landed on my feet,” she sang from her tune Wide Awake.
