With Secret Productions giving this year’s Glade Festival a fresh makeover, bringing their Secret Garden Party brand to the event, Glade 2012 is set to be bigger, weirder and better, and has the line-up to back up its swagger.
With the likes of Sven Vath, Andy C, Vitalic, Stanton Warriors, and Rusko topping the bill (and that’s just the main stage), the Glastonbury-born festival, now in its 8th year, is set to be a real experience.
The event will take place over 14 uniquely different stages between the dates of 14th – 17th of June at Houghton Hall, Norfolk. With its burning stages, 3D sound systems, under-floor bass arenas, woodland parties, 24-hour venue license and Glastonbury Rabbit Hole, it has the potential to be the best and most interesting Glade festival to date, and is no doubt intent on making up for its unfortunate cancellation in 2011.
The festival will surely excite revellers with its vast selection of stages and events, including the Meteor Stage, that is set amidst a 30-foot deep crater, surrounded by trees with bass bins under its floor; or additionally, festival-goers might prefer to check out its host of exuberant “Nano Venues” that are located all around the festival site.
Glade 2012, with it’s incredible rural setting, burning stages, woodland parties and vast range of underground electronic music, is set to be a big one, and looks to leave a profound mark on the UK festival landscape.
