Much touted 22 year old London born singer/songwriter Tyler James, who scooped the coveted ‘T4 One To Watch 2005' award at the Smash Hits Poll Winners party follows his recent special guest slot on Amy Winehouse's sell-out UK tour, with the release on March 7th of his new Island single “Foolish”. “Foolish”, the follow-up to Tyler's acclaimed debut “Why Do I Do?”, is taken from his eagerly awaited debut album “The Unlikely Lad” which looks set to establish him as one the most exciting young talents in the British music scene.

Co-written by Tyler and producer Mushtaq, who has previously worked with Terry Hall and Misteeq among others, “Foolish” is backed with “Foolish” Track & Field Version, “Nothing” – Acoustic version and “Just Around The Corner”. Remixes for the club 12inch come courtesy of Track & Field, Bimbo Jones and Kardinal Be.

The release of “The Unlikely Lad” will introduce a talent equally capable of mastering a variety of styles. The songs are the result of many long hours in the studio allowing Tyler's natural feel to shape the music while co-writing with long term friends Mathew Marston, Blair Mackichan and Mushtaq. In addition to the writing and producing presence of Mushtaq, Tyler's debut benefits collaborations with two of America's finest producers - Commissioner Gordon (Lauryn Hill) and Track & Field. (Nelly Furtado).

Foolish is released March 7th.
