Primal Scream bassist Mani played one last time with the group on New Year's Eve before returning to his original group, the reformed Stone Roses.

The Roses announced their reunion in October 2011, bringing an end to their 15-year split.

After The Stone Roses disbanded in 1996, Mani accepted an offer to join Primal Scream, knocking back The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Beastie Boys. Mani handed in his notice to Primal Scream in October when The Stone Roses reunion was announced.

The Stone Roses formed in Manchester, UK in 1983 but only released two albums The Stone Roses (1989) and Second Coming (1994).

The band was official dissolved in October, 1996.

The 2012 will also include a third studio album. The Stones Roses recently signed with Sony for America and Universal for the rest of the world.

The Stone Roses will play the festivals across the European summer. The first three days have been scheduled at Heaton Park in hometown Manchester on June 29, 30 and 31, 2012. They sold 220,000 tickets in just over an hour.

Mani's final setlist with Primal Scream was:

Movin On Up
Slip Inside This House
Dont Fight It, Feel It
Damaged
Accelerator
Shoot Speed/Kill Light
Loaded
Come Together
Swastika Eyes
Country Girl
