Joe Jonas is remorseful for “breaking someone’s heart” in the past.

The 22-year-old singer has had high profile love affairs in recent years. Joe broke up with Taylor Swift in 2008 and ended his romance with Demi Lovato in 2010.

Joe is not a fan of heartbreak and feels guilty if he may have inflicted it on former lovers.

“I wrote a song called I’m Sorry that I sing every night on tour. It’s about breaking someone’s heart, and this is my apology,” Joe told People magazine.

“You may know who it’s about, but I try not to say names.”

Joe doesn’t have any ill feelings towards his former girlfriends. In fact he is very supportive of his ex-lovers’ endeavours.

“I downloaded Demi Lovato’s album today, I’m interested in hearing the music she’s come up with and want to support a friend,” Joe said.

“I’m happy she’s doing well.”

Joe won’t allow the pain of past relationships to keep him from finding future love.

He does not want to jinx the prospect however, as it seems that when Joe reveals his secret crush something embarrassing always happens.

“Every time I say who [my crush] is, I end up meeting the person. It happened recently. I met Jessica Alba, and she said, ‘Hey, you had a crush on me, didn’t you?’ And I was like ‘Yeah, me and the rest of the world!’”
