Following news of his double nomination at this year's MOBO awards, platinum-selling artist Chipmunk today announced a very special gig for fans when he celebrates turning 21. On Thursday 10th November, Chipmunk will perform an exclusive set for Best Buy customers at London’s indigO2 venue, taking songs from his debut album "I Am Chipmunk", as well as his latest release "Transition."
Chipmunk says, "I’ll be rocking the IndigO2 for one night only - get down to Best Buy stores for free tickets!"
Tickets for the 2,500 capacity venue will be available at Best Buy stores nationwide, free with every purchase over £10 from Monday 17th October. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Chipmunk is the latest high-profile act to sign-up with the world’s leading technology store, Best Buy, following free gigs in the UK by Ellie Goulding, Alesha Dixon and R&B princess Alexis Jordan. Best Buy opened its 11th store in Enfield London last month.
London-based pop trio SoundGirl, who released their debut album this month, will also take to the stage on 10th November – marking the third time Best Buy has taken over the indigO2 venue to reward customers. And new all female band Vida, managed by JLS star Ortisé Williams, promise to deliver some girl power to proceedings with a hi-octane performance.
