Thursday 22nd September sees the return of global phenomenon Glee to our TV screens, with what is set to be an incredible third season.

For the very first time, the music from each Glee episode will be available to download on the day of its US release; two days before the episode is aired in the UK. The music from the first episode of the third series, “The Purple Piano Project” will be available to download from Tuesday 20th September.

Among its tracks, Glee Episode 301: “The Purple Piano Project” sees the Glee cast perform Tom Jones’ “It’s Not Unusual” with group numbers by New Directions; “You Can’t Stop The Beat” from Hairspray and The Go-Go’s “We Got The Beat”.

As of July 2011, The Glee Cast has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, with over 33 million Glee songs digitally downloaded. With their phenomenal nonstop track record, The Glee Cast has passed The Beatles for the most appearances among non-solo artists in the Billboard Top 100 chart’s 52 year history. In addition, the show has won 6 EMMY’S, 4 Golden Globes and the cast have been nominated for a BRIT Award.
