Global Radio’s Choice, London’s number one urban station, is thrilled to welcome award-winning singer, actress, model, and TV presenter Jamelia as the co-host of its Breakfast Show for the last two weeks of September.
Stepping in for girl-about-town Max, the four-time MOBO Award winner, multiple Brit Award nominee, and Thank You star will join Choice Breakfast’s Kojo from Monday 19th September. Every weekday morning the duo will wake-up London with the biggest and best urban music and celebrity news & interviews.
Jamelia has enjoyed a successful career in music and entertainment, spanning over ten years. She has released three hit studio albums – Drama, Thank you, and Walk with Me - which have earned her eight UK top ten singles, including Superstar and See it in a Boy’s Eyes. The singer has also appeared in high-profile national campaigns, such as the Toni & Guy haircare range Model.Me which she launched and featured in alongside top fashion models Erin O’Connor and Helena Christensen. Recent TV appearances include her addition to the popular Channel 4 series The House That Made Me.
Tune in to hear Jamelia co-host Choice Breakfast with Kojo for two weeks from Monday 19th September, weekday mornings from 6am-9am.
Jamelia said: “I'm so excited about presenting the breakfast show on Choice. Although I'm a little nervous, to be on with one of my good friends Kojo, makes it a little less daunting. I'm a huge fan of the show and hope to do a good job of filling the lovely Max's boots while she's away. I can't wait!”
