Throughout the years of my reviewing and discussing the X Factor, this past Saturday's show has to be the most challenging to write about.

I personally know two of the acts that were featured and know they will be reading this with baited breath. I will continue to be honest and say what I feel. That's what this game is all about isn't it?

First up in Manchester were Kendal and Alejandro, better known as Kendro.

I watched their performance live a few months ago, along with the Manchester crowd. The majority loving their quirkiness and fun demeanour. People were on their feet clapping along to their fab version of "Born this Way". Lady GaGa is worried!! Granted, they are not the strongest singers, but they get my vote for the entertainment. I think this is what won the day perhaps, rather than the singing. You know it lads! And I'm sure I heard the word Jedwood being bantered about. You can't be too upset with that comparison.

BUT the man, Gary Barlow hated them. Even saying they were, “everything the competition doesn’t need" Gary, the other 3 judges, (and me) disagree and Kendro live to fight another day. Good luck lads.

Next up, was Sami Brookes who gave us a brilliant version of "One moment in time"

The crowd and the judges loved it. Gary and Kelly even gave her a standing ovation.

Is she the winner? Sorry, not in my eyes. Great singer, lovely girl but I'm going to shock people by saying that I can't even see her getting to the live shows.

Onwards and upwards, along came my friends, Newcastle girl band Twisted.

Their audition was in fact, Twisted by name Twisted by nature.

Chrissie, Katie, Paige and Cheryl took to the stage and we all waited, hoping and praying that the judges would like them.

Sadly, the judges didn't warm to the group, but Kelly Rowland did see a unique quality in the lead vocalist, Chrissie Pitt.

As a band the group were sadly rejected and the girls were quite rightly, devastated, the journey was over.

Then in a massive twist, Kelly Rowland went backstage and asked Chrissie to re-audition as a solo act.

Teary eyed Chrissie sang her heart out and proved she has what it takes as a solo artist. Four yes's later and off she goes to bootcamp.

I speak to Chrissie on regular basis and she is genuinely upset that she had to do it alone and leave the group.

Good luck to Twisted for the future and best wishes to Chrissie as she starts the next leg of her journey.

Last up on Saturday's show was Lascel Wood. He strolled in to the bootcamp stages with his fantastic version the
Kings of Lyon's, "Use somebody". Another act I can see doing well in a band.

So that was the very eventful Saturday show. Sunday's review will follow shortly.

Last word goes to Lisa Wilson from Bath who sent this to me"I love Kendro, can you get me their autograph Dean?"

Lisa I will try.
