Adam Levine is not “squeaky clean”.

The 32-year-old singer is a mentor on TV show The Voice alongside Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton.

The Maroon 5 frontman gets on well with his co-stars and believes they all share the same values and opinions.

“Believe it or not, we’re all very like-minded. None of us are squeaky clean,” he told Parade magazine.

“I think between the four of us, we all have no problem being open, honest, raw, and real. That’s what makes the show fun. There’s nothing Mickey Mouse about it. It’s a very straightforward group of people who are not afraid to say what’s on their minds. It’s kind of cool to have a show that’s not all scripted or fake.”

Adam released Moves Like Jagger with his band. The song features Christina, and Adam was blown away with her delivery on the track.

“It was awesome. She’s super talented. I fully trusted her to do her thing. She’s a pro. I love how restrained and held back it was,” he explained.

“It’s very different for her. I loved her delivery.”

Adam is excited for Maroon 5’s future. The star is happy with how everything is going right now.

“It’s been great. There’s so much more buzz now surrounding the record. It’s building up again. We’re so happy for the success that we’ve had. We kind of had a reintroduction to the world through The Voiceand the single, Moves Like Jagger is blowing up. Everything is just incredible right now. We’re very happy and very fired up.”
