Kylie Minogue has recorded the theme song to the upcoming movie version of The Magic Roundabout.

The animated movie will be released in the UK on February 11.

Kylie voices prim Florence in the movie of the BBC children's favourite while Robbie Williams is world-weary Dougal the Dog.

Joanna Lumley voices Ermintrude the cow, Oscar winner Jim Broadbent plays Brian the snail and Rocky Horror Show creator Richard O'Brian voices Zebedee.

The Magic Roundabout based on the French TV series created by Serge Danot ran on BBC 1 from 1965 to 1977.

Meanwhile, in her hometown of Melbourne, Kylie the exhibition, featuring 300 costumes from throughout her career kept by her parents Ron and Carol has opened at the George Adams Gallery, Melbourne Arts Centre.

The exhibit, which runs until April 25, includes the overalls Kylie wore as Charlene in Neighbours, her slinky dress from her Slow video as well as costumes from throughout her career as well as memorabilia, photos, awards, tour passes and videos.

Kylie told the Melbourne Herald-Sun, "They're pretty much to size. But then the costumes from 15 years ago would be even tinier than I am now.

"It's been surprisingly emotional. I feel really proud. In a way it's like sending the kids away: 'OK, go off, look after yourself'. They're being put out to pasture, which is better than being shoved in a box somewhere."
