MC Skibadee, one of the legendary Drum ‘n’ Bass MCs of the last 15 years, is launching a revolutionary new Facebook App on 24th July 2011.
Following much research into the ways that social media is being used to help up and coming, and already established, artists gain further recognition and reach a wider fan base, Skibadee will be launching this never-before seen Facebook App, Basepage, to enable people to find out everything they could possibly want to about their favourite d’n’b MC. Everything will be covered, including what has happened previously, what is going on now and what his plans are for the future. Also featured will be a program through which people will be able to listen to classic tracks and new tracks featuring MC Skibadee.
Also included in the Basepage App will be links to a whole variety of Skibadee-related websites, such as his Twitter account, Myspace page and a host of other Skibadee sites, both official and fan produced.
MC Skibadee said in a recent interview, 'It is all about keeping one step ahead, not just going with the flow, but being bold enough to be the first and be innovative." MC Skibadee launches the Basepage App as his solution to the problems facing musicians and artists in their quest to be heard above the ever increasing noise. It has been decided that every App will be individually designed and created specifically for each artist.
