Mel B thinks people keep the “gory” bits of pregnancy quiet.
The former Spice Girl is due to give birth to her third child later this year. She insists it's only when pregnant that women realise the changes their bodies have to go through.
“Being pregnant, they forgot to tell you that you can't see your toes or your lady bits,” she remarked to Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie-O. “People forgot to tell you the gory bits. It's not pretty. And I don't think it gets easier, the older you get the more your body gets battered.”
The LA based celebrity added that she will be visiting Victoria Beckham soon to congratulate her, following the birth of her daughter Harper Seven last weekend. The new arrival joins Victoria and husband David’s three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
When asked if she would also be sharing her friend's habit of naming her child something unusual, Mel admitted that some of her choices “are weird”. She already has two children named Phoenix Chi and Angel Iris.
The new bundle of joy will be Melanie and husband Stephen Belafonte's first child, and the pop star has revealed that he is hands on with fatherhood.
“My husband likes the breast feeding part, but he's a pervert,” she joked.
