The 'Written in the Stars' rapper – who recently revealed he used to listen to the country star's famous '9 to 5' song all the time as a child - used all of his showbiz influence to arrange for his "absolutely delighted" mum Rosemary to speak to her idol.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Tinie has been a big fan of Dolly's since he was a little boy. He was on tour but arranged for his mum and sister Kelly to go to The Savoy to spend some time with Dolly in her suite.

"Dolly had listened to 'Pass Out' and said she was a fan of her son. Rosemary was absolutely delighted."

And Rosemary, from Plumstead, south east London, made the most of her opportunity by taking along all of her Dolly records for the 'Jolene' singer to sign – and she even tried to arrange an unlikely collaboration between the two musicians.

The source added: "Rosemary invited Dolly along to see Tinie in concert at Wembley Arena (in London) on November 10. Dolly said she'd love to go.

"She said she would be up for talking about a collaboration and said Tinie would crack America no problem at all."
