Rising hip-hop star B.o.B. says his forthcoming music is sure to surprise his fans.

His debut album The Adventures Of Bobby Ray was a hit, featuring guest spots from the likes of Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Bruno Mars, Hayley Williams of Paramore and River Cuomo of Weezer.

Regarded as part of a new wave of indie hip-hop artists, it’s welcome to hear that B.o.B is ready to change it up.

He told MTV News, “I think people will definitely be surprised at the music they hear on the second album. I don't think they would expect that coming from me."

There’s no set date for a follow-up album to his star-studded debut but he guarantees new music soon in any case.

He said, “Even if not an album, you'll definitely see new music this year”.

B.o.B’s latest effort was a guest appearance is on British singer Jessie J’s UK number one hit ‘Price Tag’.
