On Thursday March the 3rd, unsigned UK outfit The Munroes will be performing as special guests of Italian rock giants Litfiba at the HMV Forum, Kentish Town, London.

Litfiba embarked on their first European Tour back in 1984/1985 and have performed great shows all over the World, and although an avant-garde band, they do not abandon the best rock traditions.

Having sold seven million records Worldwide and a decade of individual music experiences to their name the gig presents an exciting opportunity for the highly regarded Munroes who are not without a story themselves.

With fans such as Liam Gallagher, a former management team which included Russell Brand's father and having supported The Libertines and Babyshambles, The Munroes are no strangers to the limelight.

The band have managed to organically develop their own strong visual and sonic identity, fusing together elements of 60s rock, 70s punk, glam rock, Brit-pop, American rhythm and blues and psychedelia amongst other genres and styles.

The Munroes have a reputation for delivering both a dramatic and passionate live show which keeps the audience not only entertained, but thrilled, and have a diverse and ever expanding repertoire of original material that is refreshingly edgy yet surprisingly commercial, establishing them as a strong force in the London scene.

The band members are Robert Munro Runciman, Mikey Parrett, Michelangelo Camasso, Raphael Tibber and Keith "The Boat" Hill. The band's first single release "Whatever Happened To You" from their debut album "Dying To Be Re-Born" (produced by Mike Bennett - The Fall, The Stranglers, The Specials, Selector, The Beat and Ian Brown) is to be celebrated with a performance at Proud Camden on Thursday 24th March.
