With the temperatures dipping once again, the thoughts of many of us turn to warmer climes and long summer days.
And while there's no guarantee of the sun in England this August, one thing us British music lovers can rely on is the return of the 80s - or the Rewind Festival, to be exact.
So successful was the last two years of this weekend-long party, that it's back in full-force again this year, with an even bigger line-up of some of the best acts to grace the music charts across what was a rather excellent decade of music.
Headlining this year's festival will be The Human League and Holly Johnson, whose Frankie years may be long behind him but no doubt he'll be delighting his lifelong fans with some of their classic hits.
Also joining in with the festivities on stage will be Haircut 100, who have recently reformed, as well as reggae favourites UB40. back by popular demand are Rewind veterans Kim Wilde, Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw and Billy Ocean, while Candi Staton, Hue and Cry and for those of us that remember the Eurovision Song Contest only too well (come on, hands up who ripped off their skirt to reveal a shorter one!), Bucks Fizz will also be taking to the stage, adding to a line-up that guarantees that Temple Island Meadows in the picturesque and historic Henley-On-Thames is the only place to be on the third weekend in August.
Although for all lovers of pop and electronic from three decades ago north of the border - don't fret about the journey down south. Because this year, Rewind is taking the fun, games and disco-dancing to Scotland this year.
The country's first music festival to take place in July, Rewind will be taking place at Scone Palace in Perth from the 29th to the 31st and festival goers will be treated to the sounds of Rick Astley, Tony Hadley and ABC, to name just a few.
But you'd better be quick as tickets have already gone on sale for the Scottish leg of this fantastic event!
For those waiting for Henley, you'd better get online or on your phones from 9am Friday morning (Friday 28th January), they will be selling in their bucketloads! Music News was lucky enough to be there last year and had such a terrific time that not only are we recommending it to everyone this year, we will hopefully see you there, crimped hair, legwarmers and neon colours at the ready!
