Flavor Flav to open fried chicken restaurant chain

Public Enemy hypeman Flavor Flav is about to launch the first in a chain of fried chicken restaurants.

Obviously the secret ingredient at Flav’s Fried Chicken will be the Flavor Of Love.

The reality star, rap icon and giant clock enthusiast will open the flagship restaurant in the tiny burg of Clinton, Iowa.

The AV Club reports that he’s partnering up with Nick Cimino, the brother of the owner of Las Vega restaurant Mama Cimino’s, which already sells Flavor Flav-branded 99-cent chicken wings.

Flavor Flav apparently earned a culinary degree in 1978, and he’ll actually be manning the fryer, claiming in a promotional video that customers will be able to spot him at the restaurant “seasoning up my chicken, flouring up my chicken, frying up my chicken, even serving my chicken.”
