Twitter has come alive with tributes flowing in for Broadcast singer Trish Keenan who died on the Friday (Jan 14, 2011) from complications arising from pneumonia.

Graham Coxon told his followers that her death was “devastating news” and a “bloody shame”.

Flying Lotus reminisced by saying “When I met Trish I was suprised at how much she smiled and laughed. Such an amazing light.”

Actress Zooey Deschanel said that her loss was “terribly sad” and that she was a “very talented woman.”

Of Montreal’s official twitter said “Rest In Blissfulness TK, you will continue to inspire and comfort us until the end of human days.”

Keenan released four albums with Broadcast, the latest being ‘Broadcast and The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age’ in 2009. She was just 42 years old when she died.
