Edwyn Collins and The Drums have announced details of the release of a new single, In Your Eyes, on February 28th 2011 through Heavenly Recordings.
Co-written with The Drums, who also play on the track, the single available on 7”and download also features the B-side To Die For.
The single is taken from Edwyn’s recent much-acclaimed album Losing Sleep, which also includes tracks co-written with Johnny Marr, Roddy Frame, Romeo Stodart of The Magic Numbers, Ryan Jarman of The Cribs and Franz Ferdinand and is the first long-player Edwyn’s written and recorded since his serious illness in 2005.
Following his sold-out UK tour in November, Edwyn Collins has announced details of a one-off London show as part of the NME Awards Show season.
He will play Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Wednesday 16th February 2011.

The past 6 months have seen Edwyn play rapturously received London shows at both the 100 Club and Queen Elizabeth’s Hall.
