The 47-year-old singer - who raises daughters Leni, six, and 14-month-old Lou, and sons Henry, five, and Johan, four, with wife Heidi Klum - rarely gets a chance to watch any of his favourite films because he is so busy and so he is intending to enjoy his holiday glued to the television with his family.

He said: "I can't remember what the cheesiest film I own is - I've been working flat out, there's no time for that.

"I suppose over the Christmas period I always watch 'It's A Wonderful Life' with James Stewart and some other classics. Do I cry when I watch it? No."

As well as being movie buffs, the 'Kiss From A Rose' hitmaker has revealed he and his family share a love for cheesy pop records.

He added: "What's the most tragic CD I own? The Village People - no only joking. I do own 'Abba Gold' though, who doesn't? The kids love it.

"I listen to 'Dancing Queen' when I'm running, along with Donna Summer's 'On The Radio'."
