On 17th January, the Pixies compilation, Wave of Mutilation will be made available on vinyl for the first time since its release in 2004.
To date, the record has sold over half a million copies and remains a consistent seller with the band regularly touring, headlining festivals and crossing over to new audiences. However, it has taken six years and the re-issue of the regular albums before we were able to finally release Wave of Mutilation on vinyl.
Ordered more or less chronologically, the compilation brings together the band's singles, two stand-out B-sides ('Into the White' and 'Winterlong'), and many key album tracks. Manufactured as a double disc set and packaged in a gatefold sleeve, the first European pressing of Wave of Mutilation is on orange coloured vinyl, while the US version of the record is available in black.
