Taylor Swift to perform song about Kanye at VMAs

Taylor Swift has written a song about Kanye West’s famous interruption and will perform it this Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards.

According to the Associated Press, the singer has written the song for her upcoming album ‘Speak Now’ and claims it will be a part of the awards ceremony this week end.

Last week Kanye West offered to write a song for Swift, saying he loves country music and that he uses it as a benchmark for judging his own melodies.

Over Twitter, he said “I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that’s so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won’t take it then I’ll perform it for her.”

Could this be the start of the most Shakespearian cross-genre rap battle even conceived? Time will tell.
