Marilyn Manson teaches university class

Some students at Temple University in Philadelphia got an hour of Marilyn Manson Monday. That's because he was the teacher. Manson taught the Art and Society class as a guest lecturer. Manson sure didn't look like a professor.

He wore an all-black suit with chrome-tipped platform shoes, dark lipstick and bulbous sunglasses. Manson responded to students' questions about art, politics and religion. Sample lecture note: "I'm not someone who doesn't respect religion, but I don't care for the way religion is used to manipulate people." He also said, "We create our own gods. We create our own devils." MTV filmed the appearance for a segment that will run December sixth.
